We collect different types of information from or through this site. Mainly these can be split in to two types:

When you fill the request a test account form you may provide, and we may collect personal data. This personal data may include your name, email address, company name and phone number.

When you provide us with this personal data you consent to us entering in communication with you, this may include email, phone or newsletters. This is both based on the necessity of this information to perform our pre-contractual obligations at your request and our legitimate interest as per Art. 6 1 (b) and (f) GDPR . We require this information to provide you access to the Desk-Net application and to understand your needs and provide you with a better service.

How long will we keep this information?

User provided information is retained for a limited period of time and no longer than 26 months, unless active business talks have begun or unless required by law.

How did we get this information and what does it include?

When you visit the site, we may automatically record certain information from your device by using various types of technology, including cookies. This information includes IP address (anonymized in most cases, yet please note that in rare cases dynamic IP-address sometimes point to a particular identifiable computer or device) or other device address or ID which collects data such as web browser and/or device type, the referral traffic source and the pages or other content viewed or interacted with on our site, and the dates and times of the visit, access, or use of the site.

This automatically collected information, as it is strictly anonymous, can in no way be linked back to personal data.

We use tools such as Google Analytics to measure and evaluate access to and traffic on the site and create visitor navigation reports for our site administrator. This information does not include personal data as it is strictly anonymous.

This website uses SalesViewer® technology from SalesViewer® GmbH on the basis of the website operator’s legitimate interests (Section 6 paragraph 1 lit.f GDPR) in order to collect and save data on marketing, market research and optimisation purposes.

In order to do this, a javascript based code, which serves to capture company-related data and according website usage. The data captured using this technology are encrypted in a non-retrievable one-way function (so-called hashing). The data is immediately pseudonymised and is not used to identify website visitors personally.

The data recording and storage can be repealed at any time with immediate effect for the future, by clicking on in order to prevent SalesViewer® from recording your data. How will we use this information?

We disclose this information to third parties which are bound to us by contractual agreements (so called sub-processors) where disclosure is necessary to provide the services or as required to respond to lawful requests from public authorities.

We require our sub-processors to satisfy equivalent obligations as those required from Desk-Net and as set forth in the Desk-Net Data Processing Agreement.

This includes, for example password protection and other access and authentication controls. We also employ application-layer security features.
